Caring Hearts Adult Day Center offers a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for senior citizens who experience mile to moderate memory loss.

Group members maintain their independence by making new friends, and socializing. Your loved one will be involved in structured, supervised, and FUN activities while you get a break from your care-giving responsibilities.

This program will help you to keep your loved one at home as long as possible. The mental and physical activities we do in the group stimulate the members, and caregivers often report that they do better at home. Some activities include:

"  Arts & Crafts

  õ  Pet visits

J  Card games

  «  Reminiscing

«  Daily Exercise

  ¯  Sing-a-longs

¯  Music activities

  s  Word games

Lunch service and transportation -- a nutritious hot lunch is available through our in-house meal program. Palatine Township offers transportation for township residents through the Dial-a-Ride Program, where appropriate.

The Caring Hearts staff will keep you up to date on how your loved one is doing in the group. The staff are Social Service professionals so they can also assist you in finding useful resources in the community.
