Welcome to Palatine Township Senior Citizens CouncilPage last updated: 2020-06-30 12:35:02
The top priority of the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council (PTSCC) is to ensure the safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff. At the direction of the Illinois Department on Aging and AgeOptions, the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Center is suspending all group-based activities. The Center will be closed for most day-to-day services until further notice. The home delivered meals program will continue as normal and congregate meals will be available to clients for pick up and off-site dining. The social service staff are working from home and able to return voice mail messages. It is important to understand that no case of COVID 19 has been identified amongst our clients and members. PTSCC is working with our partners and local health officials to ensure the health and safety of the older adults we serve. Additional information will be provided on our website and Facebook page as it becomes available.
We are currently waiting on guidance from the Illinois Department on Aging on reopening. Check back for more information.
