The COVID 19 crisis has been challenging for us all.   The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council (PTSCC) remains committed to doing our best to meet the needs of older adults in our community.  Throughout this crisis staff and volunteers have continued to provide homebound seniors with home delivered meals and wellness checks. Our social service team is working to make sure older adults are able to access the benefits that are essential to their wellbeing.  While the Center is not currently open for drop in recreation services, the social service staff is continuing to provide services over the phone. PTSCC remains focused on ensuring the safety of our participants, volunteers and staff. Every effort is being made to make sure safety precautions are in place and our facilities are cleaned and sanitized. It is our sincerest hope that we will be able to return to a schedule of regular operations in the near future.  In the meantime, please be safe.

Our Mission

To provide programs and services which support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being, and connection to the community.

PTSCC is a private, not-for-profit organization in Palatine, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago, that operates the Palatine Township Senior Center. We are one of three accredited senior centers in the state of Illinois and one of 130 nationally.
