Opportunites Outside the Center
Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels)
Deliver nutritious hot mid-day meals to homebound older adults.
Escort Transportation Drivers
Build relationships with seniors in the community and help them maintain their independence and well-being by providing transportation to important medical appointments.
Brighten the life of an older adult by stopping in regularly to visit to boost their morale and combat their loneliness.
Help a homebound adult shop for needed items.
Special Events and Fundraising
Promote the Senior Center by helping with our fundraising events including our Caring Hearts Gala, "Thirsty Thursday" Summer Kickoff, Girls Night Out and Year-long Raffle. Help with mailings, data entry or putting up posters.
Board of Directors
Provide needed expertise to govern PTSCC and assist in fundraising.
Opportunites Inside the Center
Office-Answer phones, light clerical duties, data entry.
Greeter- Welcome visitors, provide directions and give tours of the facility.
Our Place Café-Help with our Meals Program Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
Gift Shop-Staff our gift shop one morning a week.
Caring Hearts Adult Day Services Program Aide- This program runs 4 hours a day, 4 days a week for those who have mild to moderate memory loss or other impairment. Assist a staff member with activities to help stimulate their minds and bodies.
Recreation Instructors- We are always looking for more instructors for Arts & Crafts, Fitness and Exercise or other areas of interest that you are competent to teach.
Computer/Technology Instructors- The Computer and Technology Learning Program is always looking for qualified volunteers to assist Center members, visitors and guests with technology questions or issues.
